Acorns Finish 1st in Regular Season!

During the regular season finale on July 30th, 2016, it was certain that the Oakdale Acorns finished 1st in the league. Dom Lazzini finished the season with 26 goals (1st), Anthony Galioto with 11, Gavin Aubrey at 8, Mike Harcarik with 9, Cort Blatz with 4 and Ty Peluso with 2. Shyam Reddy stood strong at defense (and back-up goalie) and Amelia Lazzini with 14 saves. Aubrey, Galioto, Blatz and both Lazzini's will represent the Acorns in the All-Star Game. Peluso, Reddy and Harcarik have landed a spot on PMLA's All-League 2nd Team. The Acorns have outscored their opponents 55-41. They will play the Humpback Whales in the playoffs, and if they win, they will get to play in the PMLA Championship.
