The South Fayette Seagullz vs the Oakdale Acorns. Two teams both with a potent offense and strong defense. Many believe these two teams will be the same teams fighting for a championship.

The opening whistle commenced at the Nike Site Rink. The Acorns found themselves on defense and let up the first goal to Brayden Marinack. However, soon after, Dominic Lazzini went coast-to-coast for the first ever Acorn goal and tied the game at one At the end of the first quarter, the score was 5-4 Seagullz. In the second quarter, a critical goal from Gavin Aubrey put the Acorns ahead 7-6. The third quarter was the best quarter of the game for the 'Corns, as Cort Blatz and Ty Peluso both had great goals, while Amelia Lazzini netted 3 saves in the quarter. As the 4th Quarter rolled around, the Acorns were pumped and never lost energy. Gavin Aubrey had a rocket shot from far out that hyped the team up, and defender Shyam Reddy made sure no one scored. The Acorns emerged victorious 12-9.
